Over the summer of 2013, I had the pleasure of ridin' my bicycle clear across Iowa durin' Ragbrai, an annual bike ride they hold up there. I had the privilege of ridin' alongside a fellow named Scott Stoll, who's ridden his bicycle all the way around the world.
Scott is one of dem visionary types who cares a whole lot more 'bout doin' somethin' unique than just makin' a buck. I like him a lot, so when he brought me the idea of gettin' a raft for our bikes so we could ride 'em right out on the water, I bit hard. I bought one for myself and one for him.
