Accessibility

Texas Flange is committed to makin' texasflange.com usable for ever'one, includin' visitors who rely on assistive technologies. We aim for substantial conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we treat accessibility issues as bugs — they get fixed in the same queue as anything else, yessir.

What we do

  • Semantic HTML with proper heading hierarchy on every page.
  • Color contrast tested against WCAG AA on text and interactive elements.
  • Keyboard-navigable interface — every interactive control is reachable without no mouse, I tell you what.
  • Descriptive alt text on product photos and CAD-drawing thumbnails.
  • ARIA landmarks and labels on navigation, search, and form controls.
  • Forms with associated labels and clear error messaging.

Known limitations

Some of them older blog posts we brought over from our old WordPress setup got third-party embeds and inline images we're still workin' on addin' alt text to. Them CAD-drawin' pages show technical spec tables that are best looked at with your own two eyes — if y'all need that data in a different way (like CSV, plain text, or an accessible PDF), just holler at us and we'll send it right on over.

If y'all hit a barrier

Shoot an email to sales@texasflange.com or give us a holler at 281-484-8325. Tell us the page URL and what stopped y'all — we'll get back to you within two business days and get dat issue ticketed right quick.
