Now, Jerry Fuller was the man who founded Texas Flange, yessir. They hired him right out of High School into a company workin' on cathodic protection, and from there he moved on into the PVF Market workin' over at Taylor Forge. In between his time at Taylor Forge and startin' up Texas Flange, Jerry was always workin' hard to grow and learn more, 'cause he just wasn't the type to sit still and be content with where he was at.
I tell you what, one time durin' an interview, somebody asked him if he could understand dat Taylor Forge price sheet. He just laughed and said, “I ought to, I wrote it!”
After dat Market Dip back in 1985, Jerry went on and founded Texas Flange, and with all his know-how about flanges and the whole industry, he put Texas Flange on the international radar in just a few short years. He never did stop learnin' about all dem different flanges and the alloys they're made from, and he always kept Texas Flange right at the front of the pack, both here at home and across the pond.
